Job summary

UF Information Technology (UFIT) seeks an intermediate-level eLearning Support Specialist to join Academic Technology e-Learning Support. You will assist faculty, staff, and students with e-Learning tools like Canvas, VoiceThread, and Qualtrics, working via phone and ticketing system to resolve issues and improve learning experiences.

The role resides on the UF campus in Gainesville, with a strong focus on course management systems and user support within UFIT's dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience.
• Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
• Experience administering, building courses in, and/or providing user support for course management systems (especially Canvas).

Job Description:

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an intermediate-level eLearning Support Specialist to join Academic Technology e-Learning Support, a unit within UFIT.

UF Information Technology (UFIT) enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using HiPerGator.

Within the immediate team, e-Learning Support provides assistance to faculty, staff, and students with e-Learning tools on campus, such as Canvas, VoiceThread, and Qualtrics. Assistance is provided via phone and a ticket system. Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community.

• Experience with varying learning technologies
