Job summary
Veolia Water Technologies seeks a Senior EI&C Engineer to lead electrical/instrumentation design for water technologies on complex projects. You will act as a technical lead, mentor junior engineers, and may lead a team on large projects.
Responsibilities include instrument selections, panel design, VFD/Starter choices, and factory acceptance testing. The role requires 10+ years in industrial control system design, UL/CEC compliance knowledge, and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant or related experience.
- Experience designing complex low voltage industrial control systems.
Responsibilities
- Read, interpret and comment on engineering documents (P&IDs, GAs, process design guidelines).
- Interpret and follow complex contract and customer specifications.
- Perform calculations and select instrumentation for water treatment facilities with safety in mind; manage budget, scope, schedule, and risks.
- Design complex low voltage control systems (SLDs, I/O lists, panel schematics, networks).
- Support bids, provide technical guidance and lead solutions to meet customer requirements.
