CenterPoint Energy in Houston is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of high-voltage and extra-high-voltage transmission and substation projects within a long-term capital portfolio, with focus on the Texas 765kV program.

You will own scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and risk from initiation through commissioning, supervising an integrated project team and coordinating OE/EPC partnerships to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Construction Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years of applicable work experience can be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• 7-10+ years in engineering/project/construction management within electric transmission and/or substation.
• Expertise in integrated schedule/cost/risk controls and formal change management.
• Direct EHV experience (≥500 kV, preferably 765kV) delivering transmission line and/or substation scope.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of high-voltage and extra-high-voltage (EHV) transmission and substation projects.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedule and budget baselines; manage cost and schedule through earned value and KPI dashboards.
• Enforce stage-gate governance and project controls; provide transparency on project progress.
