Job summary

SpaceX in Bastrop, TX seeks a Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Engineer focused on EHS training programs.

The role develops, implements, and continually improves training curricula to enhance safety, regulatory compliance, and workforce capability in a high-hazard manufacturing setting. You will lead instructor-led and digital trainings, manage LMS content and reporting, and work with engineering and operations to translate learnings into actionable improvements.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in EHS, manufacturing, operations, or related engineering/training roles.
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related EHS regulations; familiarity with adult learning principles.
PM/TPM skills or PMP welcomed; experience in TPM is a plus.
Proficiency with LMS platforms, data visualization tools, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement EHS training curricula and programs aligned with regulatory requirements and risk reduction priorities.
Assess training needs, perform gap analyses, and evaluate existing programs for improvements.
Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and on-the-job training; create materials and job aids.
Collaborate with operations and EHS teams to integrate lessons learned from incidents and audits.
