SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to lead the development and continuous improvement of EHS training programs for a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on strategic training development, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven program effectiveness, including LMS management and cross-functional coordination with operations and engineering teams.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in EHS, manufacturing, operations, program/project management, training, or engineering role.
• Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs, preferably in manufacturing or high-hazard environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other EHS regulations; familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Technical Program Management (TPM) expertise strongly preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) welcomed.
• Proficiency with LMS platforms, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive EHS training curricula, materials, and programs aligned with operating needs, regulatory requirements, and risk reduction priorities.
• Conduct training needs assessments, gap analyses, and evaluations of existing programs to identify opportunities for improvement and new content development.
• Provide guidance and feedback to instructor partners for effective training delivery and materials for employees at all levels.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and EHS teams to solicit feedback and integrate lessons learned from incidents, audits, and performance data.
• Manage LMS content, tracking, and compliance documentation for EHS training completion and effectiveness.
• Partner with internal stakeholders/contractors to enhance training delivery methods; manage related projects to completion.
• Analyze training-related data to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement; develop dashboards and visualizations as needed.
• Architect strategic training roadmaps and action plans supporting risk reduction and EHS maturity.
• Identify training challenges, lead root-cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Communicate with leadership and engineers/SMEs about training reviews and results.
