Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Bastrop, TX is seeking a Senior EHS Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety training programs for Starlink operations. You will build curricula, deliver diverse training formats, and manage LMS content to ensure regulatory compliance and safety excellence.

A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in EHS or related roles are required, with strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and instructional design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS, manufacturing, operations, program/project management, training, or related engineering role.
• Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs, preferably in a manufacturing or high-hazard industrial environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations; familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Technical Program Management (TPM) expertise strongly preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) welcomed.
• Proficiency with LMS platforms, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization/reporting tools (Power BI).
• Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to multi-task, manage shifting priorities, and follow through on projects with minimal supervision.
• Innovative thinking to drive continuous improvement in training effectiveness and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive EHS training curricula, materials, and programs aligned with regulatory requirements and risk reduction priorities.
• Conduct training needs assessments, gap analyses, and evaluations of existing programs to identify opportunities for content development.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions; create and maintain educational materials and job aids.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and EHS teams to ensure training relevance and apply lessons learned from incidents and audits.
• Manage LMS content, tracking, reporting, and compliance documentation for training completion and effectiveness.
• Partner with stakeholders or contractors to enhance training delivery and manage related projects to completion.
• Analyze training data to measure program effectiveness, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement; develop dashboards as needed.
• Architect strategic training roadmaps and action plans to support risk reduction and operational excellence.
