Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to lead the development and implementation of EHS training programs across our manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and workforce capability through strategic curricula and LMS management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in EHS/training, strong instructional design, and PM skills. Travel to SpaceX locations is required; SpaceX offers comprehensive benefits and stock options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 5+ years in EHS, manufacturing, or training roles.
• Experience developing and delivering EHS training in manufacturing or high-hazard settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and instructional design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement EHS training curricula and materials.
• Assess training needs and evaluate programs for improvement.
• Guide instructors and create materials for all employee levels.
• Collaborate with operations and EHS teams to ensure relevance.
• Manage LMS content, tracking, and compliance documentation.
• Lead projects to completion with structured PM practices.
• Analyze data to measure training effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Create strategic training roadmaps aligned with risk reduction goals.
• Identify and solve training and competency challenges.
• Communicate with leaders and SMEs; present findings.
