Job summary

Accuray Incorporated in Madison, WI seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety professional to lead our EHS programs. You will develop and maintain policies, perform risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance across the site while supporting radiation safety initiatives.

You will train staff, investigate incidents, drive improvements, and collaborate with site leadership to promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in EHS or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in an EHS role with regulatory knowledge (OSHA).
• Familiarity with radiation safety requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence and partner across levels.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Monitor effectiveness of EHS programs and recommend improvements based on audits, incidents, and regulatory changes.
• Promote a positive safety culture by engaging employees and leaders in EHS initiatives.
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, risk assessments, and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver EHS training programs and maintain training records.
• Investigate workplace incidents; determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical EHS guidance and support regulatory inspections and audits.
• Analyze EHS performance metrics and report progress to management.
• Coordinate occupational health programs and emergency preparedness activities.
• Support radiation safety programs with external partners.
