The position oversees the local environmental program, drives training, regulatory submissions, and liaison with environmental regulators, while supporting global divisional needs and emergency response actions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental Engineering or related field with equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in Environmental, Health and Safety with hands-on and program management.
• Ability to navigate and interpret EHS regulations.
• Ability to drive complex projects to completion with little direction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a matrix, global environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee local environmental program per regulatory requirements.
• Develop and submit regulatory compliance documents (air/water/waste).
• Serve as liaison with regulators for permitting, monitoring, reporting.
• Provide training on air, water, waste, and sustainability goals.
• Work independently to solve EHS problems and advise management.
• Support facility Emergency Response and release reporting actions.
• Ensure compliance with EPA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain effective communications with employees, contractors, vendors.
