Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related safety/health field is required.
• Experience developing and maintaining EHS programs and audits.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Experience interfacing with regulatory agencies and auditors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs across sites.
• Serve as SME for environmental, health, and safety matters and advise on hazards and changes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local requirements and company standards.
• Lead investigations of workplace accidents and environmental incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Perform site inspections, safety audits, risk assessments, and maintain risk registers.
• Establish EHS KPIs, maintain regulatory records, and report to leadership.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, managers, and employees on workers’ comp and return-to-work programs.
• Drive environmental sustainability efforts and engage stakeholders and auditors.
