Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety Consultant to join our Florida offices in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Orlando, Clearwater, Melbourne, Boca Raton or West Palm Beach.

You will lead EHS project delivery, develop client strategies, and grow our practice with an entrepreneurial mindset. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in process safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management, with strong writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

10+ years in consulting or industrial environment with process safety knowledge.
Ability to manage multiple projects and travel.
Experience delivering PSM programs.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Lead process safety projects for clients in oil & gas, chemicals, pharma and manufacturing.
Develop and implement PSM programs per OSHA 1910.119 and EPA 40 CFR 68.
Conduct hazard analyses (PHA/HAZOP/LOPA).
Perform audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Review PSI docs including P&IDs, PFDs, control narratives and procedures.
Support MoC and emergency planning services for clients.
Communicate process-safety risk to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
Provide project management, technical advice and training in environmental compliance and sustainability.
Support marketing efforts and client development.
Fieldwork up to 30%, overnight travel up to 30%.
