Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety Consultant to support our Florida offices in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Orlando, Clearwater, Melbourne, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach.

The role focuses on leading environmental health and safety initiatives, mentoring staff, and expanding our process-safety practice for diverse industrial and governmental clients. You will drive strategic safety solutions, manage client development, and contribute to Geosyntec's

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree chemical, environmental, or civil engineering required.
Advanced degree in chemical or environmental engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver process safety projects for clients in industries including oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing.
Develop and implement PSM programs aligned with OSHA 1910.119 and other global standards, including EPA RMP requirements.
Conduct and lead hazard analyses (PHA/HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA).
Perform audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Support mechanical integrity, management of change (MoC), and emergency planning services.
Evaluate contractor safety, safe work practices, and training programs for PSM alignment.
