Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Multi-Media Environmental Health & Safety Permitting & Compliance Project Manager to lead permitting and compliance projects for industrial clients in the Northeast. Location is flexible through New York and New England.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or Environmental Science and 10+ years' experience in EHS consulting, along with PE preferred and CSP/CHMM credentials. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Direct experience supporting or leading environmental compliance, including air quality, due diligence, audits, EMS/ISO, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience developing environmental management systems (EMS) and training, and knowledge of stormwater, wastewater, and hazardous material handling.
• Strong understanding of EPA/state regulations (CAA, CWA, EPCRA/SARA, RCRA, CERCLA, DOT) and related rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance and permitting projects for Northeast industrial clients.
• Act as the technical resource on regulatory analyses and reporting.
• Develop EMS documentation and continuous improvement plans for clients.
