Job summary

Stantec seeks a Multi-Media Environmental Health & Safety Permitting & Compliance Project Manager to guide permitting and compliance work for industrial clients in the Northeast. Location flexibility through New York and New England.

You will manage regulatory analyses, audits, EMS development, and strategy for CAA, CWA, EPCRA, RCRA, and OSHA. Travel up to 20% may be required; PE preferred; CSP/CHMM-like certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Direct experience supporting or leading environmental compliance projects including air quality, auditing, EMS/ISO.
• Strong understanding of federal and state environmental laws (CAA/CWA/EPCRA/RCRA).
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for assessments and client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance and permitting projects for industrial clients in the Northeast.
• Serve as a technical resource on environmental compliance and permitting.
• Perform regulatory analyses of facility operations and reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement Environmental Management Systems documentation and improvements.
• Lead development of permitting strategies and client engagement.
• Ensure timely deliverables and quality assurance of project outputs.
