Job summary

Roseburg Forest Products is seeking an experienced EHS leader to direct health, safety and environmental programs at the Chester, SC facility. You will partner with plant management to ensure regulatory compliance, develop safety training, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance across the site.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related field, 5+ years of leadership experience, and strong knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related field or equivalent
• 5+ years in an EHS leadership role or similar
• Strong knowledge of environmental and safety regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and coordinate safety programs and procedures
• Lead safety initiatives and track performance metrics
• Coordinate training for staff on safety and compliance
• Conduct safety audits and regulate compliance with permits and MACT requirements
• Collaborate with HR and other sites to share best practices
• Supervise staff and mentor development of safety skills
• Maintain and manage safety inventories and documentation
