Job summary

Coherent Corp. Sherman, TX seeks an experienced EHS leader to manage the site’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System in alignment with Coherent standards, ISO 14001/45001, and legal requirements.

This role develops the EHS strategy, performance indicators, and improvement initiatives for a 100% onsite facility. You will lead OSHA Process Safety Management, radiation and laser safety, toxic gas monitoring, emergency response, contractor safety, and regulatory compliance while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety, occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• Five+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or high-hazard environments.
• Experience managing EHS personnel and programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related regulatory requirements.
• Experience with OSHA Process Safety Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EHS Management System aligned with Coherent standards and ISO requirements.
• Develop and execute the site EHS strategy, objectives, and KPIs.
• Oversee safety and industrial hygiene programs including hazard and exposure assessments.
