Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety activities across the site. You will ensure regulatory compliance, develop training, and manage the EHS system aligned with ISO 14001/45001.

The role emphasizes proactive risk reduction, accident-prevention program development, and collaboration with unit managers and external agencies to share knowledge and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3–5 years of experience.
• Or 10 years of related work experience.
• Active member of an EHS-related professional association preferred.
• Certifications such as ASP/CSP/CHMM/CIH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages all environmental, health and safety activities required by federal, state and local authorities.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and reports improvement opportunities to top management.
• Provides EHS training as required by policy and regulators.
• Manages the facility’s EHS management system based on ISO 14001/45001.
• Tracks environmental, health and safety performance and risk.
• Plans and coordinates programs to reduce injuries, illnesses and regulatory risk.
• Develops accident-prevention programs for operational policies.
• Coordinates safety activities of unit managers.
• Maintains liaison with external organizations, such as fire departments.
• Evaluates safety programs and participates in professional activities.
• Trains other employees and contributes to continuous improvement.
