Coherent Corp. is seeking an experienced EHS professional to plan, implement, and coordinate EHS programs for Garnet operations at Easton, PA and Hillsborough, NJ.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local levels, with responsibility for audits, training, and safety program enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in Safety/Environmental disciplines and 4+ years of EHS experience, with travel between sites up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Must have four-year degree in Safety/Environmental field and 4+ years EHS experience
• Experience with PA/NJ regulatory permitting is preferred
• Experience conducting PHAs and JSAs

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate EHS programs to ensure site regulatory compliance
• Conduct internal audits, root-cause analyses and tracking of actions
• Maintain safety files, records, and SDS management
• Perform industrial hygiene sampling and process safety risk assessments
• Coordinate EHS training and onboarding of new employees
• Support emergency response with ERT activities and drills
• Improve EHS management system to reduce risks and incidents
• Travel between Easton and Hillsborough up to 25%
