Job summary

Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky, LLC (CATK) seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead the development, coordination, and implementation of occupational health policies across the U.S. sites.

You will conduct audits, manage permits and budgets, deliver employee training, and drive a safety culture while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Safety and Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in Process Safety Management for general industry and construction.
• Experience with EHS management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead site-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with work safety, fire safety, environmental safety, and security requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into planning, design, and operations.
• Manage permits, budgets, and EHS annual planning.
• Lead emergency management and incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
