Job summary

A leading energy technology company in Kentucky is seeking an experienced logistics planner to optimize logistics systems and manage production logistics. Candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in logistics automation and project implementation. A bachelor's degree in logistics management or a related field is required. Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of working experience in logistics planning in a manufacturing factory.
  • Experience in logistics automation project implementation.
  • More than three years in lean logistics improvement projects.
  • Lean logistics projects experience; ERP system background (SAP, MES, LES).
  • Strong logical thinking; good communication; adaptability; resilience.
  • PMP certificate preferred.
  • Good oral and written English skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize logistics systems.
  • Design and implement production logistics layouts.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs.
  • PMC KPI monitoring.
  • Logistics quality and evaluation.
  • Oversee packaging development for cell, module, pack raw materials.

Job Overview
  1. Implementation and optimization of logistics system (LES, MRP, WMS, TMS, APS);
  2. Design and implementation of production logistics (layout, actual logistics and information flow);
  3. Design and optimization of logistics transportation network;
  4. PMC KPI monitoring;
  5. Logistics quality and evaluation;
  6. Be responsible for the development and approval of Cell\ Module\ Pack raw material packaging within the group.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or above, major in logistics management, enterprise management or related.
  • At least 8 years working experience in logistics planning position in manufacturing factory; Project experience in new warehousing and logistics planning; Experience in logistics automation project implementation;
  • Have relevant knowledge of logistics planning and management;
  • More than three years experience in lean logistics improvement projects; At least two years experience in system audit; Familiar with the background logic structure of each ERP system (SAP\ MES\ LES, etc.).
  • Strong logical thinking; Good communication skills; Strong adaptability and coping ability; Strong compression resistance;
  • Holding PMP certificate is preferred;
  • Good oral and written English skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
  • Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings.
  • Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
