Job summary

Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky LLC is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the quality management of production processes. The role entails supervising quality teams and managing KPIs while ensuring adherence to industry standards such as ISO9000 and IATF16949. Preferred candidates will have at least 8 years of process quality experience in manufacturing and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Job Overview
  1. Coordinate the quality management and control of the production line process;
  2. Assign and supervise the quality business of PQE team;
  3. Be responsible for monitoring quality activities such as SPC, FAI, MES inspection, FIFO, error prevention, rework and equipment Qualify;
  4. Responsible for change management and effective implementation of process response plan;
  5. Be responsible for and supervise the timely containment, analysis and solution of quality problems;
  6. Support various process audits, such as process audit and LPA audit;
  7. Promote process risk identification and quality improvement activities;
  8. Responsible for KPI management and ability improvement of PQE team;
  9. Tasks assigned by superiors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or above, major in science and engineering (electronics, materials, chemistry, machinery), electrochemical background;
  • 8 years working experience in process quality in manufacturing industry;
  • 2 years or more team management experience (≥ 3 people),
  • Familiar with ISO9000/IATF16949/VDA quality system;
  • Familiar with quality analysis and improvement tools (FMEA, FTA, 8D, 6Sigma, SPC)
  • Understand the basic principle of battery working, the basic characteristics of communication failure and mechanical structure failure, and the product failure analysis method;
  • Proficient in using office software and strong data analysis and processing ability;
  • Proficient in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English
  • Strong ability to resist pressure, cheerful personality, good communication skills;
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
  • Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings.
  • Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
