Calgon Carbon Corporation is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager II at the Big Sandy manufacturing location. You will lead a team of EHS professionals, develop strategic plans, and drive a strong safety culture in a complex plant environment.

The role requires extensive knowledge of EPA/OSHA/KY regulations, ISO systems, and proactive risk mitigation, with a focus on reducing incidents and maintaining compliant operations.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record of reducing injuries.
• Strong knowledge of US EPA, OSHA and KY regulations and reporting.
• Experience leading EHS teams and driving culture changes toward safety.
• Ability to develop and maintain ISO systems and health programs.
• Proven ability to communicate with regulators and senior leadership.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of EHS professionals to achieve site safety goals.
• Develop and implement an EHS strategic plan with KPIs monitored across the site.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for air, waste and water management.
• Drive continuous improvement through audits, training, and risk reduction.
• Coach production managers and leaders on EHS leadership and incident investigations.
