Essex Brownell LLC seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to drive compliance across its distribution, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities in the United States and Mexico. You will partner with leadership to foster a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include managing EPA/OSHA/DOT programs, conducting investigations, delivering training, and producing KPI reports for executive leadership. Will travel 25-40% to sites as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or chemical-related operations.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling.

Responsabilidades

• Lead environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple facilities.
• Maintain SDS management system and ensure data accuracy across documentation.
• Oversee hazardous materials classifications, shipping names, hazard classes, and BOL information.
• Lead Tier II hazardous chemical inventory reporting and waste management programs.
• Manage EPA/state/local and international environmental reporting, permits, and compliance.
• Oversee DOT hazard materials transportation compliance and regulatory changes.
• Evaluate shipments for regulatory compliance and export requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and management systems.
• Deliver EHS training to ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, and company compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Conduct JSA, PPE assessments, and facility risk assessments.
• Perform EHS audits and track corrective actions to closure.
• Develop and track EHS KPIs and present monthly performance reports.
