Job summary

The ideal candidate has a BS in science/engineering or equivalent, 5+ years in safety compliance, and 2+ years of managerial experience. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are required for successful leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in Safety compliance.
• 2+ years managerial experience.
• Working knowledge of federal and state EHS regulations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent PC skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and manages activities related to safety affairs at the operations facility.
• Maintains knowledge of federal and state EHS regulations and communicates with regulators.
• Directs investigative testing and monitoring programs; analyzes causes of incidents.
• Implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with rules and regulations.
• Represents the company in safety groups and maintains safety files and records.
• Oversees ISO 45001:2018 implementation and acts as Management Representative.
