Job summary

Torrey Holistics in California seeks an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee development and continuous improvement of all EHS programs at the R&D/production facility.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT, lead audits, manage hazardous materials, and promote a culture of safety while partnering with operations and engineering.

This full-time role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and ISO 14001/45001 knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Spanish fluency desired.
  • Experience writing reports, policies, procedures, and training materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continually improve safety programs and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulations.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; enforce corrective actions.
  • Manage hazardous materials and waste programs; update HMMP.
  • Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance and support audits.
  • Lead site Safety Committee and promote employee participation.
  • Deliver EHS training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Investigate incidents and root causes; drive corrective actions.
