Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced EH&S Manager for a large Downey, CA manufacturing facility. You will lead environmental, health and safety programs, ensure compliance with ISO 18001 and ISO 14001, and drive risk reduction on the factory floor.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, collaboration with operations, and hands-on leadership on-site with no travel. A Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field and 5+ years of manufacturing EHS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in large-scale manufacturing (preferred).
• Experience with Safety and Environmental Management Systems including ISO 18001 and ISO 14001 audits.
• Strong background in environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Experience conducting risk assessments in large-scale manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs for a large-scale, high-speed manufacturing facility.
• Provide EHS expertise and influential leadership across operations.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
• Manage ISO 18001 and ISO 14001 programs and audits.
• Conduct workplace risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide environmental guidance to facility leadership and operations.
• Support safety programs involving large-scale electrical systems.
• Communicate EHS findings to senior leadership.
