Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) leader to provide SPW EHS support on assigned projects. You will partner with SPW leaders to implement programs, training, and compliance to reduce risk and protect the workforce.

You will manage field EHS professionals, apply safety standards, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement across operations. Bachelor's degree and 6–8 years experience required; OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, CHST/CSP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental health, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 6-8 years of experience in construction EHS required, including experience supporting self-perform crews.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety training required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• CHST or CSP certification preferred.
• STSC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages implementation of EHS programs and initiatives supporting SPW operations in alignment with regional and enterprise standards.
• Oversees EHS professionals supporting SPW crews; provides direction, coaching, and performance management.
• Partners with SPW superintendents, foremen, and operations leaders to integrate EHS planning into daily and look-ahead work activities.
• Reviews risk assessments, audits, and JHAs to support safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
• Manages incident investigations and corrective action tracking; supports communication of lessons learned.
• Monitors and analyzes EHS performance metrics to identify trends and recommend risk mitigation actions.
• Coordinates SPW EHS training, onboarding, and competency verification for craft and field leadership.
