Job summary

Terracon seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead EHS compliance efforts in the North Central Eastern region, based out of Glendale Heights or Chicago, IL. The role focuses on guiding clients, managing projects, and delivering high-quality HSE services with a strong emphasis on regulatory knowledge.

You will mentor staff, develop business plans, and expand relationships with clients while ensuring safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology.
• 15 years' practice experience preferred, 10 years' experience required.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Demonstrated high level of technical writing ability.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand existing EHS compliance services.
• Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables.
• Lead projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Develop strong client relationships and market understanding.
• Develop proposals and cost estimates in response to RFPs.
