Job summary

Terracon seeks an experienced Senior EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives in the Florida Division. You will mentor staff, manage projects, and develop client relationships, supporting nationwide EHS efforts.

The role requires strong technical writing, analytics, and a broad EHS background across air permitting, stormwater, hazardous waste, and compliance auditing. A PE license is preferred and a valid driver’s license is assumed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering required or equivalent.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred where applicable.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS staff and programs within the Florida Division.
• Develop growth plans and collaborate with client development and technical staff.
• Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals and other deliverables.
• Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Build client relationships and mentor staff on projects.
• Support regional and national EHS initiatives and pursuits.
