Job summary

Terracon seeks an experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead environmental compliance efforts across the Eastern Midwest Region, including OH, KY, IN, MI, WV, and PA, with support for nationwide projects.

You will mentor staff, manage client relationships, and develop local/regional marketing strategies while ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in a full-time consulting role.
• Demonstrated a high level of technical writing ability.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work and possess a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-Hr refresher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand existing environmental compliance services.
• Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables.
• Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Understand the local and regional market.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients.
• Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests.
• Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies.
• Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines.
• Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
