Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced EHS leader to manage safety and environmental programs across Rocket Park facilities and satellite locations. You will coach EHS professionals, implement programs for hazard control, and support design and test reviews to ensure safe spaceflight operations.

Responsibilities include incident response, regulatory compliance, and development of training. The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and a commitment to a culture of safety and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or occupational safety.
• 5+ years total work in EHS.
• 2+ years in operational aerospace, manufacturing, or chemical industry.

Responsibilities

• Manages EHS professionals to achieve organizational goals.
• Implements EHS programs for hazard control and compliance (industrial hygiene, fall protection, confined space, PSM, etc.).
• Provides SME in design and test reviews and support during incidents.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Develop, update, and deliver EHS training and audits of safety programs.
