Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced EHS professional to lead safety and environmental programs across Rocket Park facilities and satellite locations. You will implement controls, manage assessments, and advise engineering and production on EHS matters to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in EHS, 5+ years in aerospace/manufacturing/chemical environments, and preferred certifications. Relocation and travel up to 10% are possible, with first-shift opportunities and a

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or occupational safety.
• Ability to use industrial hygiene tools and monitors.
• Experience writing technical reports.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and Florida regulations.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management methods.
• Experience in incident reporting, investigations and root-cause action.
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Implements EHS programs for hazard evaluation and control including industrial hygiene, fall protection, confined space, lockout/tagout, PSM, hazard assessments, hearing conservation, heat stress and environmental management.
• Provides EHS consulting across planning, managing and reporting assessments.
• Supports design and test reviews with EHS input.
• Assists in incident response including spills, injuries, hazardous operations, launches and emergencies.
• Ensures compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations at Rocket Park facilities.
• Prepares and submits reports to federal/state regulators as required.
• Updates Blue Origin processes and trains new employees on the EHS program.
• Participates in waste disposal activities and recycling programs.
• Develops risk assessments and job hazard analyses in collaboration with engineering and production.
