Job summary

Ramco Specialties, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead a proactive safety culture and environmental compliance across the organization.

You will partner with Operations and leadership to reduce risk and drive continuous improvement in a 24/7 manufacturing setting. The role requires a Bachelor’s in EHS and 5+ years of relevant experience, strong OSHA/EPA knowledge, and the ability to influence at all levels while implementing robust safety programs and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or chemical environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of site-wide EHS programs.
• Establish and track KPIs including TRIR, near misses, and environmental metrics.
• Partner with leadership to integrate safety into daily operations and decision-making.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA regulatory compliance and maintain required permits and reports.
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, RCA, and corrective actions.
• Oversee hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal and env records.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advise leadership on risk, compliance, and safety improvements; halt unsafe work when needed.
