Job summary

Applied Digital is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator to lead and coordinate safety and environmental programs across hyperscale data center construction sites and 24/7 facilities. The role includes inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, training delivery, and safety performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, construction management, environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, chemistry, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in development, implementation, and enforcement of EH&S policies, procedures, and programs for construction and operational data centers.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, OSHA standards, and client safety requirements.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to continuously improve safety programs.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring (air, water, waste) including sampling, QA/QC, and trend analysis.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports, permits, and regulatory documentation.
• Provide training and outreach on environmental requirements and site-specific procedures.
• Investigate incidents related to environmental non-compliance and develop corrective actions.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments across sites and operations.
• Lead safety meetings and coordinate with contractors to address hazards and ensure safety compliance.
• Ensure Site Specific Safety Plans and Job Hazard Analyses are current and effective.
