Job summary

AV is seeking a Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Specialist in Utah to partner with EHS and production leaders. You will assess environments, systems, and procedures to prevent harm and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local policies.

You will lead investigations, training, and cross-functional safety initiatives to maintain an incident-free workplace. You will drive incident trending, risk assessments, and EHS program development across multiple sites, applying safety standards and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety Sciences or related technical degree is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations (Cal OSHA, CUPA, CA Fire Code, etc.).
• Proficient with MS Office and office productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring, updating, and maintaining policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Apply EHS concepts to reduce risks and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Lead safety committees and participate in EHS teams and programs.
• Develop and deliver technical training, sessions both virtually and in person.
