Job summary

Twelve is pioneering a new industrial era with carbon transformation. The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Lead develops, implements, and monitors company EH&S programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Roles include leading EH&S activities, obtaining permits, training, incident investigations, and collaborating with executive management to meet safety and financial objectives; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in an EHS role with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Background in chemical processing, oil & gas, R&D, or similar industrial settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of building and implementing EHS programs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Leads EH&S activities to meet quality and financial objectives.
• Leads EH&S projects, designs and schedules objectives with management.
• Ensures permits for environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Develops reports and presents to internal/external stakeholders.
• Collaborates with senior management to set annual EH&S goals.
• Represent the organization as primary safety spokesperson and coordinate with agencies.
