Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking an Environmental Engineer to own and improve environmental programs across Bay Area sites, ensuring compliance with permits, regulations, and ISO14001 standards. You will lead air emissions control, wastewater, stormwater, and waste programs, coordinating with multiple departments and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• Professional environmental certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement environmental programs including air emissions control, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and waste management.
• Obtain and manage environmental permits and develop operations compliance plans.
• Submit regulatory permit renewals and reports to agencies and internal sustainability metrics.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, notifications, inspections and outreach.
• Maintain knowledge of environmental regulations and interpret laws applicable to Bay Area operations.
• Support ISO14001 certification and internal assessments.
