Job summary

Lam Research in Fremont, CA seeks an experienced EHS Engineer to develop, implement, and sustain environmental, health, and safety programs across industrial machinery, robotics, and machining operations.

You will partner with engineering, operations, facilities, and regulatory stakeholders to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with applicable requirements; lead safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant EHS or industrial safety experience.
• Experience in industrial machinery, robotics, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage industrial safety programs across SMP, robotics, and machining operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and regulatory engagement.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement engineering and administrative controls.
• Lead incident investigations and drive root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
