Medbio, LLC is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead development and improvement of EHS programs across multiple sites in Michigan and New York. You will promote safe work practices, standardize processes, and coordinate customer declarations (REACH, RoHS, EU MDR) with verified evidence.

You will support OSHA and environmental compliance, conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, and report on trends and improvement priorities to leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• At least five years of manufacturing EHS experience including regulatory compliance, inspections, investigations, and program implementation.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements; ability to assess Michigan and New York requirements.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, reporting, and cross-functional leadership skills; multi-site experience preferred.
• Familiarity with REACH, RoHS, and customer material declarations preferred.
• Experience with sustainability assessments, ESG/EHS data reporting, or EcoVadis preferred.

Aufgaben

• Identify applicable EHS requirements for each site and maintain compliance records, permits, reporting deadlines, and required programs.
• Develop and standardize EHS procedures, inspections, training, and reporting while addressing site-specific requirements.
• Support OSHA and environmental compliance programs, including machine safety, lockout/tagout, chemical safety, emergency preparedness, waste management, and applicable permits.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and EHS audits; track findings and corrective actions through closure.
