Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics LLC is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety professional to support the EHS program. You will assist in implementing and administering EHS processes, ensuring compliance with OSHA and international standards, and backfilling the Director when needed.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, coordinating training, and overseeing safety programs across laboratory and office environments. A strong background in biosafety and regulatory affairs is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or related field is required.
• Master's degree in health and safety strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental safety is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in biosafety (BSL-2+ materials) is required.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience is required.
• Certifications: CHMM, CIH or CSP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guides MSD employees to ensure compliance with OSHA and international EHS standards.
• Collaborates with departments to implement health and safety monitoring and training.
• Reviews incident reports and ensures corrective actions are taken.
• Acts as backup to Director for regulatory communications with OSHA and other regulators.
• Performs special projects as assigned by the Director.
• Mentors EHS staff and may supervise others.
