Job summary

ERM is seeking a Senior Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance to join our Nashville team. You will collaborate with clients and ERM experts to deliver solutions in EHS compliance, sustainability, and due diligence across diverse industries.

You will support regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and environmental site investigations while developing robust safety programs and technical documentation. This role offers growth within a global sustainability leader.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, environmental science, geology, occupational health and safety, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years (5–10 years preferred) of relevant environmental experience or internships.
• Experience developing safety plans and working outdoors in variable conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical abilities.
• Experience recording and reporting detailed technical data and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance, sustainability, site investigation and remediation, and due diligence projects.
• Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, storm water, NPDES, and wastewater programs.
• Conduct EHS compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support development of EHS compliance and management systems.
• Provide on-site EHS support to clients as needed.
• Perform Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments for property transactions.
• Conduct environmental field work including groundwater, soil, sediment, and surface water sampling.
