Job summary

ERM in Nashville, Tennessee seeks an experienced Senior Consultant, EHS Compliance to help clients navigate federal, state and local environmental regulations while advancing sustainable business practices. You will partner with industry leaders and collaborate with ERM's global experts to deliver impactful EHS solutions across compliance, site assessment, remediation and due diligence.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, environmental science, or related field with minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years (5–10 years preferred) of relevant environmental experience or internships.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety with experience developing safety plans and outdoor work.
• Strong written and verbal communication with analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance, sustainability, site investigation and remediation, and due diligence projects.
• Prepare permits and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, storm water, NPDES, and wastewater programs.
• Conduct EHS compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support development of EHS compliance and management system programs.
• Provide on-site EHS support to clients as needed.
• Perform Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments for property transactions.
• Conduct environmental field work including groundwater, soil, sediment, and surface water sampling.
