Job summary

Oracle Health Consulting is seeking a Senior EHR Solutions Trainer & Subject Matter Expert to support federal healthcare clients. You will deliver clinical EHR training, focusing on ambulatory, inpatient, and revenue cycle workflows, and help users become proficient with Oracle Health solutions.

You will travel up to 100% to customer sites for deployments and go-live activities, mentor trainers, and align training with project goals while working with clinical, operational, and technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare admin, learning and development, business, or related field.
• Six or more years of clinical, healthcare training, consulting, or EHR experience.
• Current clinical license (e.g., RN) and hands-on clinical practice.
• Experience delivering EHR training and applying adult learning in healthcare settings.
• Experience coaching learners and supporting end-user adoption.
• Experience working with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain government clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led and virtual training for diverse roles.
• Provide deployment/go-live training and refresher sessions.
• Create and update job aids, facilitator guides, exercises, and other learning resources as workflows and system configurations change.
• Apply adult learning principles to improve engagement and retention.
• Serve as a clinical subject matter resource for assigned specialty.
• Translate complex clinical and technical workflows into practical training.
• Identify knowledge gaps, adoption barriers, and areas of resistance.
• Recommend practical solutions such as refresher sessions, office hours, microlearning, or targeted remediation.
• Help learners understand how system and workflow decisions affect their daily work.
• Observe training sessions and provide feedback to trainers.
• Conduct coaching to improve delivery quality and consistency.
• Support instructor readiness and reinforce training standards.
• Use learner feedback and performance trends to improve training.
