Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Senior EHR Application Analyst to support, optimize, and advance EHR systems. This role handles complex technical issues, mentors junior analysts, and leads system optimization to improve clinical and operational performance.

The position is hybrid (onsite and remote) in Rochester, NY, with 40 hours/week and typical hours from 8am-4:30pm. Epic certified professionals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an EHR Application Analyst, Health IT Analyst, Epic Analyst, or in a related healthcare information systems role.
Current Epic Certification.
Degree in computer science, healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary escalation point for complex EHR issues and system errors, applying advanced troubleshooting techniques.
Provide day-to-day technical support to end-users to ensure uninterrupted EHR usage.
Guide junior analysts on daily support challenges and build team capability.
Lead routine maintenance activities, including software updates, patches, and upgrades, for system stability and security.
Coordinate testing and validation for changes, ensuring new features meet requirements without disruptions.
Participate in on-call rotations and take lead on after-hours coverage for escalated issues.
