Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale EHR implementation across healthcare facilities. Hybrid role in Harrisburg, PA, two days on site. Requires PMP and 7–9 years of PM experience plus deep health IT expertise.

Responsibilities include planning, governance, stakeholder management, and coordinating multiple vendors to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of a complex EHR program.

Qualifications

• Active PMI PMP certification with a minimum of 5 years of certification experience.
• Must reside in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to work from the Harrisburg office approximately 2 days per week.
• 7–9 years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience implementing an EHR system during paper-to-digital transitions.
• Experience with EHR/EMR, health informatics, and health IT.
• Experience leading large-scale technology projects through successful implementation.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, monitoring, and implementation methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project from initiation through successful implementation and project closure.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Establish project priorities based on scope, resources, budget, and organizational objectives.
• Manage project activities across planning, design, development, testing, training, and implementation.
• Track project progress against approved schedules and take corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure project deliverables meet defined business, technical, quality, and service requirements.
• Manage projects with extended delivery timelines and multiple implementation phases.
• Coordinate activities with cross-functional IT and clinical stakeholders.
