Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of experience implementing, designing, and/or managing EHR and clinical systems.
• EHR Certification preferred
• Knowledge of HL7 coding standards and process redesign
• Experience in full implementation software development cycle and managing small projects with defined duration and scope.

Responsibilities

• Delivers work within established timeframes across IS projects.
• Defines, documents, builds, and maintains EHR application content.
• Creates functional specification documents and validates content with business owners.
• Mentors junior colleagues and assists in redesigning processes per system requirements.
• Completes thorough unit testing of all builds and facilitates testing as required.
• Provides on-call/after-hours support and end-user training during implementations.
• Prepares demo materials and demonstrates system functionality to end users.
