Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental and Historic Preservation (EHP) Project Manager to join our Team in the Northcentral Eastern region in Chicago/Milwaukee and manage Terracon’s portfolio of EHP compliance work for broadband and telecommunications clients. This role offers national project oversight, with a focus on BEAD funding guidance and NEPA compliance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, biological, or historic preservation-related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience, which may include advanced study and research in field.
• Ability to develop program guidance, training, templates, and SOPs.
• Demonstrated high level of technical writing ability.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work with a positive attitude.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop training, guidance, and templates for NEPA compliance programs.
• Train and indirectly oversee staff in local offices as well as directly lead staff on the national team.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients.
• Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests.
• Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies.
• Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines.
• Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable clients to achieve and maintain NEPA compliance.
• Grow and expand existing EHP compliance services.
