Job summary

RTX Goleta is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to implement and manage EHS programs at the Goleta, CA site. The role emphasizes ergonomics, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance to improve safety performance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in EHS-related fields, with experience in audits, HazMat response, RCCAs, and training delivery. Onsite work in Goleta with competitive benefits and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Environmental, Occupational Health or Ergonomics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, safety programs or ergonomics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Experience with RCCAs, HazMat emergency response and EHS training.
• Experience in coordinating internal and external audits (Cal/OSHA, AS9100).

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage environmental, health and safety programs across offices and industrial sites.
• Develop ergonomics initiatives and advise on compliance with regulations.
• Evaluate programs for opportunities to improve EHS performance.
• Lead regulatory inspections and coordinate audits.
• Conduct incident investigations and root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Provide EHS training and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
