RTX is seeking an EH&S Manager to lead and manage site environmental health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as RTX/PW standards.

The role focuses on developing programs, conducting audits, leading risk assessments, and driving a zero-incident safety culture, with emphasis on training and performance tracking across site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment, or an advanced degree with 7+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, factory equipment, safety, and EH&S management systems.
• Ability to work independently while leading and participating on cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with EH&S training experience.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to occasionally work additional hours, off-shifts, and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development, implementation, review, and continuous improvement of site EH&S programs and initiatives.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Lead risk assessments for site hazards and partner with leadership on mitigation.
• Drive a Zero Incident Safety Culture with action plans and improvements.
• Lead incident investigations, establish corrective actions, and document risk mitigation.
• Manage the EH&S Council and subcommittees and track performance trends.
• Develop, coordinate, deliver, and document EH&S training.
