Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA seeks an EH&S Specialist to join a large EHS organization. You will implement environmental, health and safety programs, conduct inspections, oversee incidents, and collaborate with engineers and operations to improve compliance and performance.

A degree and at least 1 year of EHS experience are expected. Relocation not provided; onsite role with opportunities to support multiple sites and undergo trainings.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting environmental health and safety programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage environmental, health and safety programs including hazardous waste, wastewater, storm water, air quality, SPCC and related programs.
• Develop initiatives and advise employees on environmental compliance questions.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate internal and external regulatory inspections.
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions.
